Emergency Disaster Services Team provides relief to Dundee Township residents
SOUTHFIELD, MICH. — Responding quickly after the tornado that touched down this morning in Dundee Township, The Salvation Army’s Emergency Disaster Services team is providing food and water to local residents who are out of power.
Three Emergency Disaster Services mobile canteens arrived in Dundee, which has been declared a disaster area, early Sunday. Two canteens are stationed in downtown Dundee, near the village’s city hall, and a third is roaming the township to provide assistance as necessary.
The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services will provide meals, as well as counseling, to those affected by the tornado. Water is also available.
